About Specialty Polymers & Resins
Our specialty acrylic bead resins are crafted from polymers or copolymers of methyl methacrylate and other monomers, tailored for use in high-performance coatings, inks, and adhesives. With a broad selection of grades featuring different Tg, molecular weights, and specialty monomers, we ensure precise solutions tailored to your unique needs.
Our Applications
We supply acrylic resins and solutions for high-performance applications under the brands of Colacryl®, Dianal, Elvacite® and Lucite®. These resins are used in a wide variety of applications such as Adhesives, Additives & Dispersants, Castings & Embedments, Coatings, Dental, Glass Interleavants, Inks, Medical, and Porous Moulds. We also provide a contract manufacturing service.
Adhesives
As binder components in various adhesive applications, our acrylic resins contribute green strength, outstanding resistance to discoloration by ultraviolet light and heat as well as resistance to grease, oil, and water.
Compatibility with other commonly used binders such as nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate, chlorinated rubber, vinyl resins, and many rosin derivatives provides broad latitude in formulation to meet specific performance requirements.
Castings & Embedments

Over the last eighty years we have established an outstanding reputation for supplying high-quality acrylic polymers to the international dental market. Today, we have a comprehensive range of high performance acrylic polymers and are committed to continuously improving our products to meet future requirements.
Glass Interleavants
We have been supplying our interleavant powders to the world’s major glass companies since the early 1980s. Our brands, Colacryl® and Lucite®, are recognized globally for their outstanding quality and dependability. Our extensive product range covers float, specialty coated and laminated glass, and has been created using our extensive experience to provide the best choice and quality to our customers.
Inks
As binder components in flexographic, gravure, and screen inks and as clear overprint coatings, our acrylic resins contribute excellent adhesion to most packaging films and foil and outstanding resistance to discoloration by ultraviolet light and heat as well as resistance to grease, oil, and water.
Medical
Building on the use of our Colacryl® acrylic polymers in the dental market since 1945 and Professor Charnley’s pioneering use of dental polymers to successfully cement and fix hip joints, we became one of the first bespoke suppliers of specialty polymers into the medical sector. Today we continue to grow strong links with academics and health professionals to ensure that our acrylic polymers meet the challenging specification and performance demands of the medical and orthopaedic market globally.
